TRIO PICKED

A trio of players were picked after having trials at the ground of Llanelli afc. Ewan Findlay, Ashley Bevan and James Stanmore, are the first from Hakin United to gain selection at this level.

They took part in a tough trial at Stebonheath, the ground of Llanelli AFC, and the Vikings trio’s quality displays impressed West Wales manager John Cornelius and assistant David Jones.

They will be included in a friendly against Llanelli Xl, and also a warm-up friendly and will then feature in UEFA Regions’ Cup matches against South Wales FA and Gwent County FA that take place next month.

MATCH RE-ARRANGED

The Llanelli home game against Haverfordwest County has been re arranged for Tuesday 14th December. KO 7.30pm. When it comes to ootball betting Paddy Power doesn't offer betting on the Welsh Premier League. If it did, you wouldn't want to bet on the Reds with them mired in the lower half of the table. Still you could have bet on Llanelli on their Europa League game against the Greek side, Paniliakos. Sadly they were knocked out in extra time.

LLANELLI THROUGH IN CUP

LLANELLI 1 ABERYSTWYTH TOWN 0

A superb Wyn Thomas, reminiscent of one by Cristiano Ronaldo, free kick thirteen minutes into the first period of extra time proved in the end to be enough to secure the Reds place in the next round of the competition where they will face a tricky away trip to Cymru Alliance side Cefn Druids at the end of January.
